Field Trips
Learning Outside the Classroom
Our students participate in a variety of field trips, from the Minnesota Zoo for kindergarten students to the Mississippi River Journey for fifth-grade students. All students also visit Wood Lake Nature Center twice each year and fourth-grade students learn to ice skate at the Richfield Ice Arena.
In addition to grade-level field trips that support the academic program, each grade level participates in a chosen field trip that is sponsored by the Sheridan Hills PTO. Those field trips include the Children’s Theatre, Base Camp and downhill skiing at Hyland Hills.
