More Than Just Great Books!
Our media center serves as a resource for students, staff and parents. A typical day in the Sheridan Hills media center begins with students coming in before school. Students can check out books, build with Legos, blocks or tiles, or draw. Throughout the day, classes visit the media center for book check-out. They also receive various lessons about digital citizenship, the research process, technology and literature.
Our media specialist strives to inspire a love of reading and lifelong learning, to empower students to be responsible and efficient users of technology and information, and to prepare students to excel in the area of media skills, digital resources and research.
