Celebrating Nancy Stachel's Retirement
After nine incredible years leading Sheridan Hills Elementary, Principal Nancy Stachel is retiring! From her start in the 2016–17 school year to today, Nancy has been a steady, joyful presence in the Sheridan community.
Whether she was navigating school construction with a view of the sky through the first-grade hallway, dancing at family events, or celebrating student performances, Nancy built a legacy of laughter, love, and learning. Her leadership—and those countless smiles—will be missed!
Originally from Minneapolis and a proud Columbia Heights alum, Nancy looks forward to slow mornings, more golf, travel adventures, and training her dog to support young readers through the Read program.
Thank you, Nancy, for your heart, humor, and unwavering dedication to the students and staff of Richfield!
