Sheridan Hills Elementary

Completed week ending Friday, June 11, 2021

  • District staff and All Furniture completed the move-out of the Kitchen, Cafeteria, and the remaining classrooms to be renovated
  • Contractor began demolition in the Kitchen
  • Contractor began demolition of existing exterior walls required for the installation of the new structural steel at the Kitchen/Receiving addition

  • Contractor to continue demolition of existing exterior walls required for the installation of the new structural steel at the Kitchen/Receiving addition
  • Begin setting structural steel at the Kitchen/Receiving area addition
  • Continue demolition in the Kitchen/Cafeteria

  • Owner’s abatement contractor to re-mobilize and continue their removals

Richfield Middle School

  • Started demolition for dishwasher room
  • Issued drawings for pricing of the new Best Buy Teen Tech Center

  • Finish boiler room concrete floor removal
  • Underground piping in boiler room
  • Demolition at main entrance and bathrooms near loading dock
  • Removal of concrete floors in kitchen
  • Removal of flooring in cafeteria

  • Test, balance, and commission chiller

Central Education Center

  • Contractor worked to address items noted on the above ceiling punch list the Admin area and Area D offices
  • New air handling units were delivered and set in the building
  • Owner’s abatement contractor completed the removal of the underground fuel storage tank
  • District staff and All Furniture completed the move out of the classroom wings
  • Completed casework installation in the Admin space and Area D offices
  • Began selective demolition in the classroom wings

  • Complete acoustical ceiling tile installation in the Admin space and Area D offices
  • Complete doors and hardware installation in the Admin space and Area D offices
  • Continue selective demolition in the classroom wings

If your child rides the school bus, and you previously used the Ride 360 app, we want you to know that the app is being replaced by a new, updated app called My Ride K-12. 

2023 graduate holding diploma

The Minnesota Department of Education released the 2023 graduation rates. We are excited to share that we have made consistent gains in many areas and that Richfield High School’s four-year graduation rate (94.1%) exceeds the statewide graduation rate of 83.3% by 10.8 percentage points.
