Richfield High School
Completed week ending Friday, April 30, 2021
- 11-month warranty walk through was conducted for the areas that were substantially complete in April/May of 2020
- ICS, Wold, and contractors met to review outstanding Commissioning Log
- Testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC system continued
Planned week ending Friday, May 7, 2021
- Continue to test, balance, and commission the HVAC system
Centennial Elementary
Completed week ending Friday, April 30, 2021
- Contractors continued working to address punch list and IEA Commissioning log items
Planned week ending Friday, May 7, 2021
- IEA Commissioning to continue verifying completed commissioning log items
- Contractors to continue verifying completed Commissioning Log items
Sheridan Hills Elementary
Completed week ending Friday, April 30, 2021
- Completed the face brick at the Kitchen/Receiving addition
- Continued the installation of the controls for the new chiller unit
Planned week ending Friday, May 7, 2021
- Continue the installation of the controls for the new chiller unit
- Begin flushing and filling of the new chiller system piping
Richfield Middle School
Completed week ending Friday, April 30, 2021
- Continued design of the Best Buy Teen Tech Center
- Sheetrock, taping, and mudding continued in the administration reception space
- Wood shop equipment was delivered and placed
Planned week ending Friday, May 7, 2021
- Continue Best Buy Tech Teen Center Design
- Paint walls and install ceiling grid in the new administration offices
Richfield STEM Elementary
Completed week ending Friday, April 30, 2021
- Fencing around the mechanical condensing unit continued
Planned week ending Friday, May 7, 2021
- Install gate and finish fence around the mechanical condensing unit
Richfield Community Education - Central Education Center
Completed week ending Friday, April 30, 2021
- Continued mechanical and electrical rough-in in the Admin space and Area D Offices
- Continued drywall installation in the Admin space and Area D Offices
- Began taping and sanding drywall in the Admin space and Area D Offices
- Began plaster patching existing plaster walls
- Completed Roof Level mechanical curbs and openings for new mechanical equipment
- Completed floor leveling and moisture mitigation in the Area D Offices
- Formed and poured new concrete mechanical housekeeping pads throughout
Planned week ending Friday, May 7, 2021
- Continue mechanical and electrical rough-in in the Admin space and Area D Offices
- Complete taping and sanding drywall in the Admin space and Area D Offices
- Begin tile installation in the Admin space and Multi-user Toilet Rooms

The Minnesota Department of Education released the 2023 graduation rates. We are excited to share that we have made consistent gains in many areas and that Richfield High School’s four-year graduation rate (94.1%) exceeds the statewide graduation rate of 83.3% by 10.8 percentage points.

On February 29, something special is taking place at Richfield High School. Students from schools across the district are coming together for a shared Choir concert. The RPS Choral Festival will take place at 7 p.m. in the RHS Auditorium and is free and open to the public.
