ICS Monthly Report: January 7, 2022

Maintenance/Transportation Building

Completed month of December 2021 

  • Conducted pre-bid walkthrough.
  • Completed and issued Addendum 1.
  • Received and tabulated bids.
  • Verified apparent low bidder qualifications.
  • Presented recommendation to award contract to school board for approval.

Planned for month of January 2022

  • Award construction contract.
  • Collect, review, approve and process contractor submittals, including contract-required documents.
  • Ensure procurement process is progressing.
  • Complete project set-up and workflows in Procore.
  • Confirm quantity, location and specification information of owner-supplied materials.

Sheridan Hills Elementary

Completed month of December 2021 

  • Continued addressing punch list and commissioning items.
  • Addressed all open Health Dept. and City inspection items.
  • Contractor continued compiling and submitting closeout documents for review.

Planned for month of January 2022

  • Conduct final building inspection with the City.
  • Contractors to complete all remaining open punch list and commissioning items.
  • ICS and Wold to review punch list items for final acceptance.
  • IEA Commissioning to review remaining commissioning list items for final acceptance.
  • Continue receiving and reviewing closeout documents.

Richfield Middle School

Completed month of December 2021 

  • Installed exterior canopy signage
  • Ordered Best Buy Teen Tech. Center furniture
  • Painted Best Buy Teen Tech. Center walls
  • Continued punch list, commissioning, testing, and balancing

Planned for month of January 2022

  • Continue punch list, commissioning, testing, and balancing
  • Close out documentation, operations and maintenance manuals, warranty and asbuilt drawings

Central Education Center

Completed month of December 2021 

  • Delivered and installed backordered furniture.
  • ICS Commissioning completed first round of mechanical inspection and testing; and completed initial commissioning report. 
  • Plaster repair in multipurpose room completed.
  • Punch list items were addressed.
  • Received tile, paint, coat hooks attic stock.

Planned for month of January 2022

  • Install operable walls and train personnel.
  • Compile and review remaining Operation and Maintenance Manuals and attic stock.
  • Complete remaining punch list items.
  • Address issues noted in ICS commissioning report.
  • Receive and compile warranty documentation.

Updated Bus Tracking App

If your child rides the school bus, and you previously used the Ride 360 app, we want you to know that the app is being replaced by a new, updated app called My Ride K-12.

The Minnesota Department of Education released the 2023 graduation rates. We are excited to share that we have made consistent gains in many areas and that Richfield High School’s four-year graduation rate (94.1%) exceeds the statewide graduation rate of 83.3% by 10.8 percentage points. 

Empty Bowls Fundraiser: You're Invited

You’re invited to join us from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, for the Empty Bowls fundraiser. Empty Bowls is an event celebrating our community through art, music and food!
